   Every skier is different. Some of you buy new boots each and every year, some of you have never bought boots before.

   Note: if you previously answered you are new to ski boot buying AND indicate you’re a beginner, we will actually recommend a setup for you with the ability to edit our recommendation.

   Last step before we get to foot scanning will be to ensure we know what bindings you may own so we recommend compatible boots.
   
   Note: if you’ve indicated you’re looking for Race or Backcountry boots, we won’t ask about bindings since you’ll need Alpine or Tech Bindings, accordingly.
   

7. Scan Your Feet

   Use our foot scanning to capture the exact length, width, and volume of your feet, right from your phone.
   – No guessing your size.
   – No rulers, measuring tape, or bannock device needed.
   
   Accuracy within millimeters.
   
   Your scan is converted into a secure digital file that becomes your personal Fit ID, a unique biometric profile we use to match you to the right boots.

8. Our Engine Matches You to the Perfect Boots

   Our proprietary Fit Match engine compares your Fit ID to our database of top brands’ boots.
   
   We analyze key foot and ski boot dimensions and then analyze your preferences against our database. Then we rank the top boots for you, showing:
   – Fit Match Score: how closely each boot matches your foot shape
   – Performance Insights: stiffness, responsiveness, and flex profile
   – Feature Highlights: walk modes, GripWalk soles, BOA systems, and more

9. Get Fitted. Get Confident. Get Skiing.

   Once you’ve chosen a boot, you can purchase through our partner retailer, Backcountry.com. Purchase them, understand what to expect in your first fit, and decide if these are the right boots for you. If not, Backcountry has a generous return policy allowing you to return any unused boots within 90 days.
   And because your Fit ID is saved, you can revisit your profile anytime to:
